I'm caught up in thoughts of the day of my Lord
when I will enter into His rest
Can you imagine the great peace we will have
the great freedom from this strife
Oh to gaze into the eyes of my sweet Lord
to taste the rest He has bought
I'm waiting for the day of rest when I will finally be with my Lord and will fight no more
